After two years of development work, the human-centered design process around the aftercare app in the ReNaApp project is coming to an end to be tested in a trial with clinical partners. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the contributors and especially for the constant engagement of the patient representatives, with whom we were able to elaborate the user experience of the app.
ReNaApp is an aftercare app that supports and motivates breast cancer patients to plan and implement physical activities after their rehab stay. Patients can specify their favorite activities and schedule appointments for each week, creating a personalized exercise plan. Past appointments can be logged to evaluate their week. Through individualized feedback and incentives from ReNaApp, patients are motivated to plan their activity and achieve their physical goals.
