"Care, care and participation in old age" on 2 March at the University of Lübeck

Freedom, autonomy and self-determination are nowadays a basic requirement for a fulfilled life for most people. Of course, this also applies to elderly and dependent people.

The premise of "person-centered" care or support should certainly be a principal goal. However, implementation is often fraught with challenges due to various personal, structural or even institutional barriers.

Against this background, the second symposium on "Care, Care, Participation in Old Age" will take place on March 2, 2018 at the University of Lübeck.

The goal is on the one hand to present an overview of currently available knowledge. On the other hand, workshops with selected projects will take place afterwards, providing impetus for a practical exchange.
