Are aspects of socially appropriate communication currently meaningfully formalizable? Considerations using the example of telemedicine

Lecture within the workshop "Socio-sensitive Systems - Social Appropriateness as Part of Data Shadows?" (Dr. Bruno Gransche, Sebastian Nutria M.A., Jacqueline Bellon M.A.) at the conference "Integrated Research".

In the lecture we will discuss the formal modeling of beliefs based on the PDT logic developed by Karsten Martiny in his dissertation. The provided constructs can be used to model users for the appropriate design of IT systems, thus laying the foundations for the development of systems with adequate human-computer interaction. We show the possibilities and limits of technology in the field of telemedicine applications.
