The Schleswig-Holstein project "Telemedicine in Rural Areas" has won the dfg Award 2020 of the Service for Social Policy (dfg) in the category "Outstanding Digital Care Models in Healthcare".
With the project of the Techniker Krankenkasse (TK) and its contractual partners - the Gesellschaft für integrierte ophthalmologische Versorgung Schleswig-Holstein (GIO), the Ärztegenossenschaft Nord, the Hausärzteverband Schleswig-Holstein and the Institute for General Medicine at the UKSH in Lübeck - medical care in the north is further improved through telemedical applications. The state of Schleswig-Holstein is funding the project from the Care Guarantee Fund.
