DISH project started

Prof. Dr. Sascha Köpke participated in the kick-off meeting of the EU-funded project ERASMUS + "Digital & Innovation Skills Helix in Health" (DISH) on 18/01/2019 in Aabenraa / Denmark.

The "DISH-project" is dedicated to improving the digital skills of health professionals.
Its goal is to identify and develop necessary skills and to adapt vocational education and training to the changing needs of the labor market.
For this purpose different concepts are developed:
• A "learning innovation unit" concept based on a Triple Helix Partnership to ensure better development and deployment of eHealth solutions
• An on-the-job training concept that gives health professionals better e-health skills
• A concept to assess and identify the skills and competencies needed by health professionals to successfully use new digital tools.

DISH is a pan-European Sector Skills Alliance project led by the South Denmark Region (Hospital South Jutland), bringing together a total of 19 organizations from Denmark, Norway, Spain, United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium, Poland and Germany.

As an additional project partner, the "DISH-project" will work together with nursing research at the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein, Campus Lübeck (UKSH).
