COPICOH presented itself with the following contributions:
Swantje Seismann-Petersen (ISE), Michael Sengpiel (IMIS), Bennet Gerlach (ITM) and Sascha Köpke (ISE): Digital Technology in the Hospital - Cross-sectional study of the
User features professionally caregiver. Swantje Seismann-Petersen reported in her lecture on the results of a survey in hospitals in Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg, attended by about 800 nurses. Nursing professionals were interviewed about attitudes, knowledge and influencing factors related to digital technology in a professional context. Nurses are fundamentally open to digital technology and are ready to deal with innovations. Questions about attitudes towards ambient technologies show that their use can provoke surveillance and control fears, which in turn can influence their use. This must be taken into account during development and implementation.
Jan Patrik Kopetz (IMIS), Börge Kordts (ITM), Nicole Jochems (IMIS) and Andreas Schrader (ITM): Gesture Tutorials for a Novel Interaction Device.
In his lecture on the selection and design of gestures, Mr. Kopetz reported on the control of patient information systems using novel interactive devices in the nursing bed.
Adrienne Henkel (ISE), Angelika Schley (ISE), Bjoern Hussel (UKSH), Susanne Krotsetis (UKSH) and Katrin Balzer (ISE): Evaluating the feasibility and safety of a patient-centered approach
Adaptive model for a socio-technical system for communication support and re-orientation in ventilated patients in acute care: a mixed methods study.
