Digital support system in wound care

The so-called Wound Care Assistant prototype guides caregivers through the process and, through voice control, enables documentation of all relevant information integrated into the care process. Seven nurses from different settings (outpatient and inpatient long-term care, emergency department, peripheral wards) participated in the study. The Wound Care Assistant was generally rated as positive by all subjects. The feedback and results of the observations feed into the further development of the support system so that a new pilot study will take place in October.
